Objective of the Event:

    • To conduct a Sanitation Awareness Rally

• Provided awareness about sanitation.
• To complete survey forms to get better understanding of village problems.Summary:

   

  The students of Department of Sociology and Social work made a field visit to Nevta with the objective to understand the problems of the village. They conducted a sanitation rally and awareness campaign to aware villagers about cleanliness, hygiene and importance of sanitatioN.

   

   The field visit first started with Swachhata rally where student with banner and poster carried out the rally to create awareness regarding sanitation. Students visited village households and tried to create awareness regarding heath and hygiene.. Villagers and local residents were equally enthusiastic and thanked students and faculty members for their visit to Nevta.

   

  Moreover Students of Department of Sociology and Social Work filled survey form for research. They used group focused interviews and personal interviews to get in-depth understanding of village life .

   

  Outcomes of the Event:

   

  • Students visited households and got in-depth understanding of their problems.
