Objective: 

This course plan aims to provide exposure to the fundamentals of various quantitative methods which are useful in social research. Teaching certain quantitative methods, statistical techniques and methods to collect and analyze the data would help them organize and analyze the information gathered by them.

Objectives of Data Analysis.                                                                            Classification and Tabular Presentation of Data.                                                      Diagrammatic Presentation of Data: Simple bar and Multiple bar.

Measures of Dispersion: Index of Qualitative Variation; Quartile Deviation, Standard Deviation, Co-efficient of Variation.
