Social Work Practicum- Rural Community Engagement
This course will enable the studentsto get hands-on experience in engaging with rural communities, empowering them to become effective agents of change. Through practical learning experiences, critical reflection, and engagement with community stakeholders, students will develop the skills, knowledge, and values necessary to promote sustainable development in rural areas.

- Participatory Rural Appraisal Technique
- Community Project proposal
- Social Mapping , Resource Mapping ,Wealth mapping,Transit walk,Focussed group interview
- Gram Panchayat Development Plan
Conduction:
Students shall be taken to villages to study the needs and problems of ruralsocieties. They are required to prepare a detailed report of the visit and various plans related to village development and present it in a seminar on the basis of which they shall be assessed.
