Objective: 

In modernized societies, the political system has become one of the most dominant components of the total social structure. As a result it becomes imperative to acquaint the students with the nature and functioning of political system, and the political processes. The paper aims to generate in the minds of students an awareness of their status and role as citizens of the state and to make the students aware of the prerequisites of sound democratic political system and its vulnerability.
