Objective: 

Course Objectives

.To present comprehensive, integrated and empirically-based profile of Indian society.

2.To analyze certain features specific to Indian society like caste system as well the status of women in the Indian society through ages.

1.List the features  of basic institutions in Indian Society

2.Discuss the traditions, continuities and changes taking place in the Indian society.

3.Analyze the evolution of Indian society and the various changing dimensions thereof

4.Evaluate the problems of contemporary Indian society
