Objective: 

Course Objectives:

The objectives of this course are-

  1. To sensitize the student to the concept and patterns of disorganization and deviance
  2. To enable them to acquire sociological understanding of these issues and problems over and above their commonsense understanding, empower them to deal with these issues and problems 
  3. To serve as change agents both in government and non-governmental organizations.

On completion of this course, the students will be able to;

CO34:Analyze the causes of social disorganization and deviance.

CO35: Identify the causes and consequences of personal and social disorganization.

CO36: Explain the concept of crime and juvenile delinquency.

CO37:Develop skills to deal with social deviance and serve as change agents in government as well as non- government organizations

CO38:Develop understanding of sociological theories and approaches  associated with crimes.
